Rooms

The six suites at Chinzombo combine spaciousness with natural lightness. Bright spaces, large windows, and a private terrace with a plunge pool create an atmosphere that blurs the lines between indoors and outdoors. From here, you look directly onto the Luangwa and often spot hippos or elephants on the shore. Inside, you’ll find a large bed, a modern bathroom, and thoughtful details that make your stay comfortable. Everything is designed so that you can unwind between safari activities and enjoy the moment – an ideal retreat in the heart of Zambia.

Culinary

At Chinzombo, dining becomes an experience. Light, fresh dishes accompany your safari day – from breakfast in the early morning to dinner under the starry sky. The kitchen focuses on regional products, combined with modern ideas. Lunch features colorful salads or homemade bread, while dinner offers a multi-course menu that you often enjoy by the campfire or with a view of the river. A glass of wine from the well-stocked cellar or a sundowner as the sun sets behind the trees pairs perfectly. Culinary experiences are part of the journey here: honest, unadulterated, and full of moments of delight.

Location

Chinzombo is located on the banks of the Luangwa River, on the opposite side of South Luangwa National Park. The location offers both tranquility and proximity: in just a few minutes, you can be in the heart of the park while enjoying wide views of the river from the lodge. The journey is made via Mfuwe, from where a short road transfer takes you to the lodge. Even on the drive, you often see the first animals. Thanks to its riverside location, you can sometimes even observe wildlife directly from your terrace. For Zambian trips that combine exclusivity and closeness to nature, Chinzombo is an excellent choice.
