01 Sapi Concession

Kick-off in the Sapi Concession

Your safari begins where Zimbabwe's wilderness is hardly touched – in the Sapi Concession, adjacent to Mana Pools National Park. Far away from known routes, you will experience a private sanctuary with extraordinary biodiversity. Lions, leopards, elephants, and buffaloes can regularly be seen. Besides classic game drives, boat tours on the Zambezi and bush walks with experienced guides shape the safari experience. The days do not follow a rigid schedule but are guided by light, animal movements, and your own rhythm.

Time to Breathe on the Zambezi

The second part of your journey takes you to Mpala Jena, to a secluded sanctuary near the Victoria Falls. Here, it is less about constant action and more about deliberate slowing down. The lodge is a retreat for those who want to experience nature in their own way: with views of the river, on a walk along the shore, on a light game drive, or during a visit to the waterfalls. Those who wish can familiarize themselves with the local conservation project – or simply let go, relax, and absorb the vastness.

Return Journey or Continuing to Botswana

Depending on your flight time, there is still some time to enjoy the last hours in nature. Then it’s back to Victoria Falls, from where your return journey begins. Alternatively, the journey can be easily extended – for example, with a detour to the nearby Okavango Delta in Botswana. The combination of Zimbabwe's originality and Botswana's water-rich wilderness creates a particularly diverse safari experience. We are happy to assist you with planning your personal extension.
