Activities

From the lounge areas of the lodge, guests have an exciting view of the wild goings-on of the local animals. The area is home to lions, cheetahs and leopards as well as elephants, giraffes, zebras and various species of antelope. More than three hundred bird species, including fascinating flamingos, round off this diverse fauna. Deep relaxation can be found in the massages offered in the wellness area. Finally, there are adventurous game drives through the Etosha National Park and guided bush walks. The icing on the cake: A visit to the Onkolo photo hide guarantees nature observations from an exclusive perspective. In addition, the sunset tours provide insights into the breathtakingly beautiful African light that gently bathes the surroundings in the evening hours.

Location

The camp is located in the middle of the Namibian savannah in the private Onguma Reserve in the north of the country. Around ten kilometres to the west is the Etosha National Park, known as the "great white place", with its salt pan that can be seen from space. From Windhoek International Airport, it takes an hour and a half by light aircraft to reach the Onguma airstrip. Alternatively, the camp can be reached by car from Windhoek in around five and a half hours
