Activities

Meno a Kwena offers a diverse safari program that perfectly covers both adventure and relaxation. Daily game drives through Makgadikgadi National Park provide opportunities to see lions, hyenas, zebras, and wildebeests, especially impressive during the dry season with the great migration. Depending on water levels, boat trips on the Boteti River are possible, complemented by a floating hide directly below the camp – perfect for wildlife observation at close range. Cultural highlights include guided walking safaris with local San bushmen – including tracking, learning about medicinal plants, and traditional songs. In the dry season (June–October), overnight stays on the salt pans can be organized – a spectacular experience under the starry sky.

Location

Meno a Kwena majestically sits on a cliff overlooking the Boteti River at the western edge of the Makgadikgadi Pans. The region marks the transition between Okavango Delta and Kalahari – wild, expansive, and quiet. During the dry season, the riverbank attracts the spectacular migrations of zebras and wildebeests. Thanks to its secluded location, guests experience undisturbed nature, impressive wildlife, and the tranquil Kalahari.
