Namibia Safari Tours

Where the desert lives and adventure awakens

Endless horizons, breathtaking landscapes & unforgettable safaris

A country full of natural wonders - Namibia is bursting with breathtaking landscapes. Seemingly endless deserts meet coastal towns with beautiful beaches, breathtaking waterfalls, a petrified forest and striking mountain landscapes further characterise the contrasting picture in southwest Africa. And while national parks showcase the fascinating wildlife, the capital provides insights into the country's impressive culture.

All those who want to explore Namibia are spoilt for choice: There are so many wonderful places hidden here, all of which want to be seen. The Kalahari semi-desert, for example, with the world's largest continuous expanse of sand, will immerse you in a completely different world. Some people are drawn from the solitude of the desert to the coast, of which there are two contrasting cities, Swakopmund and Lüderitz. One is a tourist magnet with a beach, nature-rich excursions and restaurants. The other is more remote and surrounded by a certain magic: Colonial buildings make the town seem frozen in time.

The Brandberg is artistic - not only is it the largest mountain in Namibia, it is also decorated with rock carvings. The Spitzkoppe, the Naukluft Mountains, the Cape Cross and Waterberg are just some of the many other mountains worth seeing. Of course, the animal inhabitants of south-west Africa are not to be missed: Giraffes, zebras and cheetahs await you in the Etosha National Park. Last but not least, a visit to the capital Windhoek is a must if you want to learn more about the history and culture of south-west Africa.

As you can see, one trip to Namibia is hardly enough to discover all the enchanting things this country has to offer. However, each visit will be another milestone in your life, enriching you with valuable experiences.

We had a wonderful trip through Namibia, which is still very present in all our minds. The country is just great and we enjoyed everything very much. The trip was very well organised and perfectly timed. The accommodation was lovely and everywhere we went, we made sure that the children were not too far away from us.

Best time to travel to Namibia

The best time to discover Namibia and its breathtaking landscapes is during the dry season from May to the end of September. During these months, the temperatures are pleasantly mild and the conditions are ideal for unforgettable safaris and hikes. This is the time when the wildlife congregates at the few remaining waterholes, making for spectacular game viewing. The temperatures are pleasantly warm, but it is not too hot, making it the ideal time to enjoy outdoor activities and explore the desert landscape on hikes. It is also a wonderful time for photography enthusiasts, as the clear views and soft light in the Namib Desert and Kalahari are unique.

However, Namibia is generally considered a country with little rainfall, so travelling during the rainy season is also possible. It never rains for days on end during these months, but short and heavy showers are to be expected. Namibia can therefore be easily travelled all year round and the months from December to April also have their advantages.

Namibia's sights: What you should not miss

Namibia is a land of contrasts and unspoilt beauty. Starting with the ancient Namib Desert and the picturesque Sossusvlei, where time seems to stand still and the dunes glow in the morning sun. Swakopmund and Walvis Bay offer a fascinating mix of German colonial architecture, outdoor activities and rich marine life. A scenic highlight awaits you in the north of Namibia in the heart of Damaraland. Ancient rock engravings and geological wonders offer unique insights into the past and create a deep connection between man and nature. The Spitzkoppe, known as the "Matterhorn of Namibia", rises dramatically from the plain and offers spectacular views. But what you should definitely not miss out on is a visit to Etosha National Park. This paradise for wildlife spotting in Namibia offers unique opportunities to observe the southern black rhino. Numerous big cats and elephants are also at home here and, with a little luck, can be spotted on safaris in Etosha National Park. Namibia has a lot to offer and is waiting to be discovered by you.

Namibia: A journey through the untamed wilderness

Freshly back from Namibia, a country full of contrasts, I can still feel the fascination that gripped me in these untamed expanses. Namibia is a country of extremes - from the endless dunes of Sossusvlei to the rugged coastline and the breathtaking remoteness of the Skeleton Coast. My journey took me to the most remote places, where I experienced a silence and tranquillity that is second to none. I started in Windhoek, the capital of Namibia. The Weinberg Boutique Hotel offered me a relaxed and stylish start to my trip. If you want, you can take a city tour through Windhoek or use the city as...

National Parks Africa

Each national park takes you into a different dimension where time becomes meaningless. Herds of elephants move across the land like gray clouds, and the roar of lions at sunset can be heard for miles. These places are home to the majestic "Big Five", witnesses to the Great Migrations and sanctuaries for rare species found nowhere else on earth. Africa's national parks are not only landscapes that are home to life itself; they are also preservers of the cultures and stories that have been interwoven with this earth for centuries. They tell of the coexistence of man and nature, of traditions t...
